Daniel Medin from the literary journal Music & Literature meets Audun Lindholm from Vagant to talk about literary cultures, translation, the role of literary journals and movements across the Atlantic.

Daniel Medin, Co-editor of Music & Literature, holds a professorship in Comparative Literature at the American University of Paris. He is Associate Director of the Center for Writers and Translators, and one of the editors of its Cahiers Series (published jointly with Sylph Editions in London). He edits The White Review’s annual translation issue, and advises several journals and presses on contemporary international fiction. He is a judge for the 2016 Man Booker International Prize.

Audun Lindholm is a Norwegian editor, publisher and essayist. He is in charge of the publisher Gasspedal and from 2006 he has edited Vagant. He has published a number of fanzines, and since 2010, produced several short films.
