Alma Guillermoprieto is one of Mexico's most acclaimed critical journalists. She has written extensively on the violence that characterizes the society in her homeland. She will speak about the current situation in Mexico, and in particular the threat towards journalists and writer's. Jennifer Clement, Mexican-American novelist and activist, will comment on the lecture.
