The Aftenbladet Lecture / Aftenbladforedraget: Undine Zimmer

Undine Zimmer has received considerable attention in her home country for her book Nicht von schlechten Eltern – Meine Hartz-IV-Familie, where she writes about growing up with two jobless parents surviving on stigmatized social benefits, and a life on the outskirts of society.

At the annual Aftenbladet lecture Zimmer speaks about her work and about a Germany where all is not well, but where social inequality is increasing.

The lecture is held in connection to the photo documentary exhibition Sea Change, of which the newspaper Aftenbladet is a main sponsor.
